Customer Reviews
Monitoring unit experience
I purchased a Monitoring Unit and a DTU Stick for my existing balcony power plant. The website had good descriptions, which helped me confirm compatibility. Ordering was smooth, and I chose to pay via Vorkasse, which apparently gave a small discount. Shipping took about a week to arrive in Leipzig, which was within their stated delivery window for smaller items. Installation was plug-and-play, as described; the unit integrated well with my inverter, and I could access the data pretty quickly through the app. The packaging was secure, and everything arrived undamaged. My only minor suggestion would be to include a slightly more detailed quick-start guide for the monitoring software setup, but I figured it out eventually.
Easy to order, decent stuff
I needed a new Anschlusskabel and a couple of MC4 Stecker for my existing setup. Found them easily on the Solar Scouts website. The ordering process was a breeze, no weird glitches or anything. They shipped it out pretty fast, and it arrived in a few days, packed well. The parts seemed good quality, did the job. No complaints, really. Felt like a solid purchase.
Good kit, slow shipping
I ordered a Balkonkraftwerk Komplettset from Solar Scouts. The kit itself was well-packaged and the components, like the HMS-800W-2T Wechselrichter and Bifaziale Solarmodule, seem to be of good quality. Installation was fairly straightforward thanks to the included instructions. However, the delivery took closer to 10 days, which was a bit longer than I expected given their typical estimates. Customer service was responsive when I inquired about the shipping status, but it would be great if they could improve their delivery times, especially for larger items. Overall, a decent value for a complete system.
Module and cables arrived fast
Got a couple of Full Black Solarmodule and some Verlängerungskabel. Shipping was quick, got them in about 4 days. Everything was packed well. Happy with the purchase.
Absolutely love my new balcony power plant!
I just received my Balkonkraftwerk Komplettset and I am so happy with it! The Glas-Glas Module look fantastic on my balcony and the setup was much easier than I thought it would be. The instructions were clear and all the parts were there, even the special Halterung für Balkon. I'm already seeing my electricity bill go down. Solar Scouts really made going solar simple and accessible. I will definitely be telling all my friends about this company. What a great product!

What's the deal with returns if I buy a full kit and it's not working out? Is it a huge hassle to send back something that big?
Does anyone know if Solarscouts takes PayPal? Or is it just credit cards? Trying to figure out payment before I commit.
Are their modules actually good quality compared to say, Priwatt or Yuma? I'm trying to decide between them for a small setup.
Quick question about delivery. I live in Miami, Florida. How long does shipping usually take for one of the full balcony kits? And what company do they use?
I saw something about a newsletter discount. Is that a real thing, like, do they actually send out a code, or is it just a sign-up thing with no actual discount?
